A HOME WITH CHARACTER
IN THE HEART OF THE HISTORIC CITY CENTRE
This residence is located in the historic center of Figueira da Foz, right by the riverfront and just minutes away from the beach. Living in this area of the city means having a pharmacy, supermarket, school, shops, cafés, and restaurants all within a 5-minute walk. It stands out from the surrounding older buildings due to its private garage. It also distinguishes itself in other, less functional ways—such as high-quality construction using concrete slab and an eco-friendly façade made of hemp blocks by the patio.
The street-facing façade has a sober aesthetic that contrasts with the bolder design of the rear patio side. The large circular window facing the patio, although it may seem overly exposed to neighboring views, is actually designed to block those lines of sight while maximizing views of the garden and sky. Only by walking through and experiencing the house can one truly understand its very particular spatial and garden experience.

A 3-BEDROOM HOME
WITH FLEXIBLE-USE SPACES
The T3 layout (3 bedrooms) is spread over three floors, all with access to quality outdoor spaces. The materials and construction techniques used in the renovation meet the highest quality standards, with unique details designed with the consistency and character only possible through a thoughtful, customized architectural project adapted to the building’s context.
A tour through the floors reveals:
-
Ground floor, highly optimized, featuring a ventilated garage and a kitchen-living area with access to a cozy garden highlighted by a red-toned acer tree. The kitchen, laundry, and garage are efficiently laid out to reduce the effort of daily household routines.
-
First floor, which includes a spacious living room and a versatile bedroom/office that can open completely to the living area. This space is unique for its relationship with the sky and the garden, enabled by round windows.
-
Second floor, made up of two bedrooms with broader views of the surrounding buildings. Comfort is enhanced here by oak wood flooring and custom carpentry, including a walk-in closet, along with a floor-integrated shower bathed in abundant natural light.
